These are images from the North Carolina state championship for Cowboy Shooting. On these days (Saturday/Sunday) they were shooting Everything from black Powder to 38's to 45's. A lot of these firearms did'nt produce alot of smoke. I was trying for the action of the movement. Notice in some the eject of the Shells or the hitting of the target. The Cowboys and Cowgirls ranged in age from 14 to 70+ Some could really fire off the weapons quickly. They fired off 20+ shots (Handgun/Rifle/Shotgun) anywhere from 14 sec - 40 sec. I love the smell of Gun Powder in the Morning...
